Sit with your leg straight out in front of you with a rolled up towel under your lower leg so that your heel is clear or the floor. Slowly bring the sole of you foot inwards as far as you can or to where you start to feel pain. Reverse this and slowly move your foot so the sole is facing outwards. It is important that you preform these movements without moving your leg so you may need to put a hand on your knee to keep your leg still. These exercises can be done in varying positions of plantar and dorsiflexion (point and flex) chat to your physiotherapist as to which position is right for you.
