A3 | Eversion (theraband)


This exercise is used to strengthen the muscles that evert the ankle, mainly the peroneals. These are important because they help to control the position of the foot and ankle whilst standing, walking and running.

Demonstration and Instructions






Tie theraband to table leg or sturdy object. Sit on floor with band around middle of foot (foot you are exercising should be closest to the table. Slowly turn your foot in towards the other foot, then outwards pulling against the band. Repeat 15-20 times.
