TS | Thoracic extension (table top)


This advances the thoracic extension component of the table top stretch, to further increase thoracic extension to help with improve overhead flexion ROM and general overhead movement and posture.

Demonstration and Instructions






Rest elbows on table/box with arms bent. Maintain neutral lumbar spine (straight back) and slowly drop your upper torso down to move into thoracic extension. Avoid any shoulder impingement pain and stop at upper back pain.
