Fran is a chartered physiotherapist from the UK with over 8 years experience since graduating from Nottingham University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2008. Having worked in the UK and Singapore for 8 years prior to moving to Australia, she has gained extensive knowledge and experience working within public, private and sport settings. Fran has a keen interest in functional movement and biomechanics, seeking to correct and optimise movement patterns to provide lasting relief from pain and dysfunction. She has gained extensive experience working with runners, triathletes, football players and many other recreational sports players, as well as a variety of post surgical conditions. Fran specialises in injuries to the lower limb, running injuries, optimising running techniques, lower back pain and post operative rehabilitation. She is a trained Stott mat Pilates instructor, and has also completed a post graduate course in dry needling in Australia. Outside of work, Fran is currently studying to become a certified Functional Medicine Practitioner enabling her to take a more holistic approach to patient care, while combining it with her passion of nutrition. She is also an enthusiastic sports woman having competed as a track and field athlete for the South of England, and has a wide sporting background in running, rock climbing, skiing, netball and touch rugby.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Fran graduated in the UK with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy in 2008. She started her career working in the NHS for several months before she relocated to Singapore to continue her work in a hospital setting for 3 years gaining experience within various departments. Fran went on to work in private practice for 5 years treating a variety of conditions including acute, chronic, post surgical and sporting injuries. During this time, Fran completed several post graduate courses to enhance her treatment repertoire including pilates, kinesiotaping and dry needling, and worked along side several football and rugby teams. She is a registered Physiotherapist within Australia, NZ and the UK, and also holds APA membership.
